If one import one from the US, will one have problems getting content in the UK from Waterstones once the eReader is registered online? Or do we not have to use Sony's website for downloads?

US eReaders only allows one to purchase ebooks from Sony's eReader website if one has
a US credit card.
billing address.

From what I understand Anthony, the Reader will be retailing for £199 in the UK. A little bit more expensive if you do a straight currency conversion on the $299 it retails for in the US, but if you factor in shipping charges etc.. the cost of importing one will now work out about the same.
