Bought this product for 90+tax in Best Buy 5th Ave NY. Opened the sealed packaging to discover the worst type of headphones ever. Not worth a dollar. Didn’t even include the little piece of foam to cover the earphone so it won’t hurt your ears. The right earphone was damaged. The only help Sony offered was to send them the earphone back and they would “consider replacing” it, for the same “not worth a dollar” headphones.
Thanks. It’s not even worth the postage costs.

does any one know how to access the volumn for the sony NWZ-E438F i need to raise the volumn setting. sony service support was not helpful. i know there’s a way to do it on past models

I’m the same as Mark – I don’t care about video and other such tech gimmicks. All I want is a nice and sexy, small but solid, flash based MP3 player, to replace my excellent and loyal, but extemely aged, NW-HD3! Lol, it’s lasted so long, and been so solid, I love it so much, so I will only consider a Sony MP3 Player (Won’t touch iPod’s with a ten foot barge pole). But so far I’ve been held up from buying one by Sony while I wait for a 32GB model. Like Mark said, c’mon Sony, let’s see the 32GB goods – you won’t challenge Apple without going up to 32GB!

I will not buy another Walkman until it supports Main Profile CABAC @ 720×480 and supports the PlayStation Video/Movies store DRM….

Eh… I expected E series to have it’s traditional lighter shape… honestly previous verions of E series looks much better…
But, it’s E series.

Anyways, hopefully other upcoming serieses will have much better design and others features.
