Me parece muy mal que SONY descuide a los usuarios de minidisc.

EL SonicStage, ha sido un programa probre, cosa que siempre te sorprende, ya que el reproductor es muy bueno y ahora sacan una nueva versión que deja de lado a los minidisc.

Te dan ganas de no volver a comprar productos sony, le pero de todo es que no permieten que otros fabriquen software para sus productos, ellos quiere mantenerlo todo en exclusividad.

Vaya mierda, realmente estoy molesto, llevo utilizando 7 años el minidisc y cada vez que puedo los recomiendo, pero eso se acabo.

I wish Sony will release this in English version ASAP. Vista has become versatile already when it comes to language selection. I hope Sony programmers will do the same.

I followed what haiiit said and installed sonicstage 5 on my english windows vista.
I have an old NW-HD1 and transferring files works just fine.
It also solves the issue I had on vista of having all Japanese characters replaced with question marks, both on the computer and on the walkman. On xp, you could still get away with changing the language for unicode programs.
But being able to install the Japanese version makes it so much easier.
And this version finally makes a quite big improvement on what was just a painful program to use before.
Of course, this is only if you don’t mind having a program in Japanese.

Yes Jimski, that’s the beauty of SONY alright. Different functions in different regions……..the mind boggles really. Surely keeping things simple would save them a fortune. Maybe they will finally consider such simple tactics in these testing times.

I bought the Sony NW-S636F in Japan, but unfortunately now that I’m not in Japan anymore, I can’t even transfer music onto the music player because Sonic Stage V can not be installed onto a computer in English. I’m never going to buy a Sony music player again.

Great! At least it looks great.
Installed, tried but it doesn’t work with my music collection… maybe cause I can’t realize where the odd text says. Anyway, Until I get an english version, does not worth the time.
