Sony Takes Multiple Honors At GITEX 2008

Held on the opening night of GITEX 2008 (19 – 23 October 2008), the first ever T3 Gadgets Awards in the Middle East was attended by leaders of the region’s technology scene. The Middle East is a booming economic area as it represents the perfect marketing conundrum; the super-rich and the financially perished are very concentrated in this region. In an event that celebrated innovative consumer products that raised the bar of end-user experience, Sony took the honors during Awards night, with a total of 4 awards. Awards included the Best MP3 Player (Sony NW-A828), Best Personal Laptop (Sony VAIO VGN-SR13GN), Home Theatre Award (Sony DAV-F500) and Best Gaming Companion (Sony Playstation 3) categories.
