Sony TV’s Top PCWorld’s Reliability Charts

PC World’s annual Reliability and Service survey lets our readers rate leading vendors in several tech-product categories. This year more than 16,000 respondents shared their likes and dislikes about their high-def TVs and the companies that sell them. Participants rated each company and its products relative to competitors by nine measures, such as customer satisfaction, quality of phone service, severity of hardware problems, and ease of use (our chart here shows five).

The big winner was Sony, which was better than average in seven of nine measures. The electronics giant, known for high-quality, high-end HDTVs, earned praise for hardware reliability and customer service. It received average marks in ease of use and phone hold time. Read more at PC World..

Great to see Sony at the top of the list, and I agree entirely. Currently own a new Z series and I can’t fault the tv, the remote though is another story, with the placement or size of certain buttons needing a rework, But otherwise than that the tv is fantastic, the bravia sync option works great and only one remote to control blur ray and audio system.

Looks like the old Sony is coming back. Very reassuring for us consumers.
