What’s Wrong With This Sony Walkman Ad?

Sony invests a lot of money in marketing in just about every region of the world. In this advertisement, we see singer Eva Avila listening to a Walkman. However, sometimes artists have to digitally alter an image to ensure the best possible picture. Sometimes, those alterations don’t exactly look natural. Can you spot the problem with this ad?

    But, really, yeah it’s a stupid mistake but I really don’t think people are going to pay that much attention to “details.”

    As we don't have the original photograph, I am going to place the blame on the photographer. It is possible to actually hide your index finger behind your thumb to make it appear to be missing. It is not that really hard, try it. When someone closes their hands the middle finder seems to be shorter that the ringer finger. So, the photographer should have notice how she was holding her hand before approving it. Photoshop error? No.
