It is a powerful camera, very stylish in design. HD movies can be enjoyed with superb quality. The performance is very good. Very satisfying features. For more information on different models refer http://www.etechreviews.net

Have a query: I already use a Sony cyber shot (DSC 170) which is a good camera and has served me well. As it has a limited zoom (only 5x optical) I am planning to update to a 'superzoom' type of bridge camera. Basically need the extra zoom for shooting, inter alia, wild life. Was debating between Sony H50 and Canon Powershot SX 10 - with higher zoom as well as better wide angle I thought the Canon is a better camera. But the Sony H50 was offering "Nightshot" mode for video which I liked a lot. With the DSC HX1 with its superior features & 20x zoom being now available I am considering buying this camera (for my requirements the HX1 seems at least as good the Canon SX1 and less expensive) - but wanted to know whether HX1’s video photography in night is as good as the DSC H50? The Sony showrooms in Calcutta (India) where I live do not have this HX1 model yet and hence I would be grateful for your inputs. Thanks a lot in advance ……
