Sony Walkman B Series Gets Zapped

NWZ-B142F_JE

Sony will be introducing into the markets a refreshed Walkman B series that will have this famous Zapping feature firstly acquired by Walkman W202. Other features are pretty straightforward, however I do like the new look. It would be a nice recorder for lectures, however with 2 Gigs on board you won’t get too much of that boring speech anyways…

Dot “ZAPPIN(TM)” function to easily find the songs you want without having to view a screen.

Dot 2GB built-in memory

Well this came out of nowhere and was rather unexpected. The voice and FM recording is a nice touch, but at 2 gigs, maybe a bit limited depending on the quality of the recording. The old B series is out of stock on the sonystyle canada website and no mention of new stock arriving.

Likewise the the NWZA-826. NWZ-S736 are out of stock as well, probably being replaced by the X series (maybe), but then perhaps something new is coming to replace these 2?

I have a service manual for the B140 series and it doesn't list a US or Canadian model.
