SonyStyle Intros VAIO Signature Collection

It looks like Sony US is making some significant progress in offering more options in customization and today announced a number of really tempting, strikingly and beautifully crafted VAIOs. If you are ready to salivate some check out this VAIO Signature Collection site and see which VAIO suits your fancy. SonyStyle blogger Gina shared some deets about each model’s uniqueness. And as Chris predicted in one of the posts, we will see a VAIO outfitted in Crocodile skin (not a real one of course) in the form of VAIO CS390 model.

Most noticeable is a higher end VAIO P (the model of which I talked about back in April) hopefully will takc care of those in the US who hungered for more speed and overall performance upgrade. The VAIO P699E/Q will rock your world with 256Gb of SSD goodness and a new speedy Atom Z540 (1.86Ghz). Yum! The prices are high, but will appeal to many I’m sure.

I gotta mention a duo of VAIO TT dressed in Electric Blue and very stylish Kaleidoscope VAIO Z. The latter one reminds me of certain patterns we already saw VAIO Japan introduced earlier. According the post:

“There’s a lot to say about the Z790DND design besides its fun and funky Kaleidoscope look. The designers had to consider many challenges in bringing this design to life. First, they deployed a direct printing technology where an ink nozzle applies UV CURABLE HARD-COAT ink to the top panel and then applies a UV light to harden the ink. As a nod to “green”, the designers used a non-Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) ink and Ozone-free UV lamp. Because the ink is applied directly to the top panel, the ink needed to withstand applied pressure, rubbing and moisture such as human sweat (gross). To increase the durability and help with moisture (like sweat, gross) they applied one additional clear coating to the top panel”. Wow some heavy thinking went into designing that baby. One can customize it up to 512Gb SSD of storage, however that joy will cost you $1360.
