The AT&T model does NOT have WiFi. We can only speculate as to AT&T's reasons for further hobbling a year-old phone before they're willing to bring it to market, but it's pretty well in line with their policy of blocking any feature that they think might compete, for some small subset of consumers, with their proprietary services. Don't expect Google Maps to work on this phone, because you could be paying for AT&T's GPS service. You can get around several of the unnecessary hurdles by debranding your phone, but in the case of WiFi, they've chopped it right off.

It just seems that Sony Ericssion has real problems in the states, the Xperia shows that alone. In Europe and Japan they do well.

The Memory Card thing has nothing to do with Sony Ericsson changeing, the W995 has only just been released 3 weeks ago in EU countries, another very nice phone like the C905 here but even more better, and that also uses the M2 cards.

Satio, Aino and the X2 all have MicroSD cards, like the X1, but then the X1 was made by HTC. Maybe this shows that also these new 'smartphones' will also not be made directly by Sony Ericssion and that's why they lack the M2 cards.
