I urge everyone to try both machines and tell me what they think. It is worth your time, I promise you. I think the L series with multi-touch is less than the iPhone touch screen, I think in terms of responsiveness and the overall presentation. Touchscreen Windows 7 is a delight.
memory stick

The remote sensor is built into the front of the computer.
And according to how I understand it, there is no interaction between Windows and the HDMI Input port and Video Input jacks. Those are three separate inputs.

Unrelated interesting line in the manual: "The touch screen may even respond to a touch made by an insect that happens to come in contact with the screen." Haha.

I'm concerned about how it can control the cable box. I don't see the IR control box. In past L series computers, the IR USB box had the cable for the IR blaster which would connect to your cable box so windows media center would be able to control your box. Also, if you use a HD Box connected to HDMI, would there still be DVR compatibility? It doesn't mention it in detail in any spec sheet I could find.

I got to play with one today at the hhgregg that just opened here.
It was cool playing with the Microsoft Surface Globe software that I had previously used on the Surface table.
I noticed the computer's default setting magnifies everything 150%, so it is easier to touch everything.
It is a lot of fun to play around with, but I have always been particular about not getting fingerprints on my screens, and this gets covered with them, so I'm not sure I could deal with that.
