Michael Jackson’s Thriller Costume For The “This Is It” Tour

This Is It was a planned series of fifty concerts by Michael Jackson to be held at The O2 arena in London. They were scheduled to begin in July 2009 and continue through March 2010. Less than three weeks before the first concert date, and with all concerts sold out, Jackson died after suffering cardiac arrest. During CES 2010, Sony had a special glass booth that showed off Michael Jackson’s Thriller Costume (designed by Zaldy) for the “This Is It” Tour. It also had a shirt worn by Michael Jackson in rehearsals, courtesy of the Michael Jackson Estate.

Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” will be available on Blu-ray January 26th.

What about all the other costumes from the TII tour? Where are those?

Zaldy was brought in by Travis Payne and Kenny Ortega, but we all know that Michael worked with Michael Lee Bush for most of this life, Mr. Bush was working behind the scenes on his wardrobe, he did not want Zaldy's stuff, we just hope one day Mr. Bush can show us what he was working on, but for right now like all that worked on TII are under a contract that keeps their mouth shut. We have to eat what they're feeding us but we are not stupid. Zaldy's stuff was shown on TV and also on youtube, it is also on the Exhibition in London, but it's not the real deal. They should be told that they can't fool us. They can now say all they want cause he is not here to defend himself.

Oh my God I have to laugh at this, one day Michael had a dress fitting with Zaldy and the shoes did not fit, LOL. This guy is a loser !

Not sure of your intentions but, what will be the point of showing a costume if it is not the one Michael was going to wear? What's the benefit of that?

  • MichaelPureSoul said:

It is for their own benefit, the concert producers and the estate, they have more to show for profit at these exhibitions. No one says he was not pleased with some of Zaldy's work, it doesn't benefit them to say that, they would look bad. You'd be surprised at all they do, it's all about money, like his song says, they lie for it, they have cleaned their hands of his blood by lying.

It would have been nice to see how his career and image in the public eye would have changed after this tour, had he made it through.

I bet this thing is worth a gabillion dollars. I really liked Michael Jackson. Definitely a big part of my life even though I wasn’t a part of his.
