Secret Agent Blogger At Sony’s E3 Rehearsal

Shrine auditorium security grabbed an overly eager blogger from his third-floor balcony perch during a recent Sony E3 press conference dress rehearsal, SCEA head Jack Tretton said. Sony was working their way through a dry run of the upcoming Playstation press conference when someone noticed that what they were saying and doing was showing up on an unnamed site.

“Everything we were saying was getting posted within 15 minutes on the Internet,” Tretton said.

So Sony called in security to do a search of the place.

“They found some guy on the third floor balcony laying down taking notes and calling it in to a service,” he said.

Sony declined to name the person or the site they are affiliated with.

Sony To Offer PS3 Greatest Hits

During the E3 keynote, Sony announced that they will be offering discounted PS3 “Greatest Hits” games, a popular tradition amongst video game developers. Each game will now cost only $29USD instead of the usual fourty to fifty. Resistance, MotorStorm, Warhawk, Call of Duty 3, Fight Night, NFS: Carbon, RSV, and Assassin’s Creed; Oblivion: Elder Scrolls, and Ninja Gaiden are all expected to be included in the discounted series. Should be very soon.

Sony: Yeah, We Make LCD’s & E3 Keynote Kickoff

Look at this – Sony’s E3 Expo display is out of control. You would think that this was a Las Vegas CES setup. Sony is using at least 7 huge displays and 68 smaller LCD’s. Jack Tretton, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, kicks off the keynote by saying, “Thanks for coming out everybody. I can’t tell you how much fun we’ve had over the past several months putting together this press conference. The truth is: this is the most stressful event you can imagine. It’s taken two years off of my life.”
