Sony Stores Coming to the USA

Yea, you heard it, SonyStyle retail stores that you may have come across in the US, conveniently located in the shopping malls will be renamed to Sony stores, that simple! I am a bit surprised by this move to rename its retail stores, but I guess Sony as a whole is being unified in many ways and Sony style will remain within its retail idea. Let’s see what other new things will be happening within the stores. No word on renaming Sony Centres in Europe yet, but the trend has been set in Nagoya Japan with its new Sony store that just recently opened its doors.

    Nice move. Perhaps they'll move toward that store concept they did in Japan recently. I'm just sad Sony closed the one SonyStyle in the Chicago area at Woodfield mall. A few years prior Sony closed their Michigan Avenue store in the Chicago loop. I'd love to see that come back and them have a large retail presence to show off all the great things they're doing now.

    Now Sony is really NOT “Like.no.other” at all. Sony is simply trying to copy everything that Apple is doing and that is not going to save Sony.

    Mr.Stringer does not know why people are buying Sony products and why Sony is in such a bad shape.

    Why should people buy a Sony product when the whole product is designed and manufactured by another company? ODM/OEM are not going to save Sony , they will only worsen the situation.

    The 2010 BRAVIA line up is simply a “Epic failure” – Edge lit LED LCD TVs that are 7cm thick ? Are you crazy Mr.Stringer ? That's 3 times thick than Samsung's LED LCD TV and about the same thickness as Samsung's CCFL LCD TV. Look at how many complaints there are about the “Uneven backlight” , look at how many complaints there are about the thick frame of the TVs.

    I'm really disappointment about Sony now. If Sony keeps acting like this , it will go out of business very soon.

    Sony vs microsoft/apple/samsung……………….its difficult but m with Sony………..we hve seen the best of sony & can't leave sony in the middle.

    hi.. so true bro.. i am with Sony also.. i am a very loyal fan of Sony.. till now i have bought lot of Sony products and more than 90% of my gadgets is Sony.. BRAVIA, CYBERSHOT, HANDYCAM, VAIO, WALKMAN, PLAYSTATION, SONY ERICSSON, XPLOD.. I will support Sony till the end because they have given me the best and i have never regretted any sony product i have bought.. i am sure Sony will be the winner in the end because they have the talent and i have faith in them but i do respect other brands and i dont like to say bad things about them .SONY.
