hi, I´ve been having problem with my content transfer software. When I connetct the walkman, my computer recognises there is a USB device but the content transfer programme doesn´t recognise the walkma, and continues to say "connect walkman". this is particularly annoying as it worked a few months ago and suddenly it doesn't. I had it repaired by Sony, but it still won't work. Next step will be to see if the walkman can fly... Anybody gt ny uggestions on this?

    Adding insult to injury...
Transfer process is SLOW as hell!

Video file conversion is NOW available.

Sony's Content Transfer software still S*CKS though!
No ripping, no file editting available. Forces users to use 3rd party software because Sony is SO greedy and cheap in NOT creating a media software for their MP3 players which is very ironic!

Yes, you can drag and drop using Windows Explorer. Now, on to the subject of the Content Transfer software. I had been looking forward to using this for a while - but - what is it about Sony and playlists? Why is this concept so mysterious to them? Yes, you can drag a playlist from iTunes onto the player and it will indeed copy the songs on your playlist to the device. It even lets you delete the playlist. However - all it does it delete the playlist. It does not delete the actual songs! C'mon!!!! It is 2009!!!

Question: can music files be transfered to the new walkmans without installing any software? Like to a standard USB storage device?
